Artist’s Summary

My images are created using the photographic technique of light painting, a process which allows for the precise application of light using a single source. I especially like the “painterly” effect that can emerge without the need for software manipulation. The light, shadows, colors and textures are all created in camera which gives the artist a lot of control.

I am very much drawn to still life and just love creating my own scenes and making my own reality. I sign my work LindaLouise after my mom Janet Louise, whom I’ve watched create beauty all my life.
