Artist’s Statement
I am a Figurative Realist, painting in oil and drawing primarily in graphite but in charcoal as well. I concentrate on portraits and figurative works centered around dance and nature. I am part Native American (a small part) and have a keen interest in the Native American culture as is evidenced by a significant portion of my work over the last few years.
