Volunteer for painting parasols for the Salem Cherry Blossom Day!
Please fill out the form below to let us know that you can help and how many parasols that you can paint to help support the Cherry Blossom Day! Parasols will be on various locations in the Salem downtown area. Proceeds of sales go entirely to the artist that painted the parasol. Contact information, which the artist must supply, along with the photo, and purchase price, will be provided to the the interested party for sale of the parasol by the artist. The deadline for delivering your completed parasols for 2025 is March 1st.

Cherry Blossom Day Parasol Painting
We are looking for artists to help out with painting parasols for the Salem Cherry Blossom Day. The parasols will be provided. We just need to know how many to obtain. Please let us know if you are interested and specify how many parasols you would like to paint. We will obtain the Parasols and have them at the Elsinore in the co-op storage room for pick up. Parasols will be displayed in businesses in the downtown core. Sales of parasols will be between the artist and the purchaser and the artist receives 100% of the sale. The artist sets their own price. Labels with the artist’s name, phone number, and title of the parasol will accompany each parasol. The parasols should be painted in an Asian/Cherry Blossom theme.
