Artists in Action supports the Salem Hospital Cancer Survivors’ Artist Showcase each year in the month’s of May/June. Artists in Action also supports supplying artwork for an ongoing showing of artwork in the Building C waiting area. Annual Call to Artists
The Cancer Survivors’ Celebration Showcase is an annual event held in the waiting area of Building C of the Salem Hospital during the months if May/June. If you are a cancer survivor or have cared for a cancer patient, you are cordially invited to show one big or two smaller artworks in the May/June showcase. The 2023 showcase season is already closed, but you can contact us about the program in general or about the 2024 showcase. All art must be framed or on sturdy backing. If bigger than 20″ in any direction, please wire for hanging unless it can support itself on an easel.
