Fundamentals of Landscape Painting: Plein Air & Studio

August 7–9. Dive into the art of landscape painting in a 3-day workshop which will combine online group and one-on-one instruction. Scott Gellatly will discuss the fundamentals to create successful landscape paintings – from site selection, to composition and color-mixing. Plein Air Painting in Oregon Wine Country

August 24. Experience plein air painting in the heart of Oregon’s Wine Country! This one-day workshop by Scott Gellatly will immerse participants in the fundamentals of landscape painting – design, color and capturing a sense of place. Runaway Art & Craft Studio

Runaway Art & Craft Studio, 311 Commercial St NE, is a must-go-to for Salem’s creative spirits. They are a part of the creative downtown scene, offering supplies for and instruction in paper crafting, mixed media, memory arts, scrapbooking and related creative activities. Marnie Jeffers wanted everyone to know that the Willamette Art Center is hosting Family Sunday Clay Workshops via Zoom. She reports that she and husband and grandkids made dragons and it was great fun.
